Hey guys, I don't know how to make my own thread
on here, but I'll take this opportunity to share some strategies I've
been thinking of.
RACE in CC.
-When we start in the
building theres really no point in trying to make in all the way down
to the other side of the map because is so open where our goal would
be.
-I think the best thing to do would be to grab the target then
drop it. Defend the opposing teams checkpoint and wait for ours to
reset.
-When it resets it usually does so, really close to our original spawn point.
-The Same applies to the the other starting point.
TDM in MM.
-There
was some argument last night about staying close to our spawn point and
that it would leave us vulnerable to being camped on. Somewhat true.
-When
starting on the side that we would start from in TSNE if we were
sneaking, the only spot you don't want to be caught on is the far side
where you're pretty much cornered.
-The best place to defend is from behind the sandbags and from the alley.
-The
great part about this is that they come to us, and if we die we respawn
right back into action, because the same guy will still be sitting
right there begging to be put down.
-While on the other side of the map, the same should apply.
-The only thing that kills over there is that corner that looks down towards the van in the alley.
-If
we can hold that corner and get people to post up by the other van
close to the spawn point there should be no problem in having great
coverage on that main street and random spots on the side.
-This Run and Gun technique that some of us are using just isn't a very reliable method to go about winning.
-Lets work smarter not harder!
RES in SS and WW.
-These two maps are incredibly easy to rush.
-In SS, we just need Stuns, Grenades and Elocs to get around that
corner on the way to target. Once we're around that corner the target
is right there.
-In WW, same thing. Once we turn that corner on the 2nd level the target is right there.
-I've found that Runner3 and Stuns get the job done fast.
-An alternative in WW is going all the way around the map through the top floor and side alley to try and get behind the team.
TSNE in AA and SS.
-These two maps are ideal for rushing the sneaking team. I think we found this to be true last night in AA.
-In SS we should throw grenades down the long alley to get people who
are trying to rush up down the side. Also a few grenades up top, to
push them back so we can get up the stairs.
-And it should only
take one guy to cover the bottom tunnel. With a few grenades you should
be able to deter anyone from advancing that way towards the duck.
-In AA I don't have anything specific in mind, so we need some ideas.
We
need to start thinking strategy. I've noticed people are getting
frustrated in survival and this can totally be avoided. I'm lobbying
for regular drills to test these strategies. When in practice we need
to also be paying attention for people who aren't paying attention
and/or attending.
Are we the best? No.
Do we have the potential to be the best? Most definitely.
We'll
always run into higher levels that are ridiculously good, but keep in
mind that they're relying on the RUN N GUN and the disorientating RUSH.
Be prepared and Be victorious. Of course it's just just a game but hey...
ITS REALLY FUCKING GRATIFYING WHEN WE WIN!!! HAHA.
I want to see some opinions on this please. Lets play and communicate like a team.
